It is clarified that the students who
have appeared under the Old Syllabus for the Professional Programme of
CS course and could not complete the Professional Programme Stage by
June, 2015 Session are now compulsorily required to switchover to the
New Syllabus from December, 2015 Session. However, they will get
corresponding paper-wise exemptions for the papers covered under the
modules cleared/passed by them under old syllabus as per applicable
exemption policy of the Institute.
The factual position regarding Switchover from Old Syllabus to New syllabus is as under:-
The
students of Professional Programme (Old Syllabus) switching over to
Professional Programme (New Syllabus) are eligible for corresponding
exemptions against all the papers covered under the modules cleared/
passed by them under Old Syllabus except Strategic Management, Alliances
and International Trade. For instance, if a student has passed one/
two/ three modules (consisting two papers each) under Old Syllabus then
he/ she will be eligible for exemptions in two/four/ six papers
respectively covered under New Syllabus. Students are required to appear
only in the remaining papers covered under New Syllabus after
considering the exemptions for which he/she is eligible on the basis of
switchover.
The scheme of corresponding paper-wise exemptions on the basis of switchover to the New Syllabus is given hereunder:-
Name of the Paper passed/ exempted under Professional Programme(Old Syllabus) | Code | Name of the Corresponding Paper exempted under Professional Programme(New Syllabus) on switchover | Code |
